The Mindset Athlete Podcast

Nov 4, 2022

Robert was born with a birth defect called Fibular Hemimelia. His mother made a hard decision when he was 10 months old to amputate his leg. Growing up wasn't easy, he lost his home in a house fire when he was young , suffered through some abusive circumstances as well as other hardships . As a young man he had to adapt to PMA as he calls it "Positive Mental Attitude". Sports as a way to show people what I can do instead of what I can't.

Robert was able to turn his Test into his Testimony and began embracing his disability. This has led me to be on several Tv Shows such as ; American Ninja Warrior, Ink Masters, 7 Seconds, Returning the Favor with Mike Rowe, and much more. He then created his speaking company Limb Possible, and helped create a non profit Limb Kind where he has traveled around the world helping underprivileged children recieve prosthetics. In 2019 a short film about my life "Able" was nominated for an Emmy.

He participated in his first CAF event when he was 21 and from there fell in love with the organization and has been a part of it since! Robert Quotes " CAF and the amazing community involved has been so helpful a long my journey and I am honored to call myself a CAF Athlete''

Robert has played on the Amp 1 Basketball Team and competed in NBA half times, USA Sitting Volleyball Nationals and the A2 team, Para Spartan World Championships. He is a Player on the USA Amputee Soccer Team and is now a USA Elite Paratriathlete with 4 World Races under his belt in his 2nd year of Triathlon. Robert Quotes " My goal is to empower others and show them "Anything's Possible ".
